Life is going great for Olive \u2013 her two young boys are happy and healthy; her marriage has never been better. Then she is involved in an accident; a life altering event that leaves her family stunned, heartbroken and lost.<\/p>\n

It all happens so suddenly that those closest to Olive are having a hard time coming to terms with the aftermath. Everyone is finding it difficult to move forward \u2013 her husband, her mother, her sons, even Olive. After losing Olive, her husband Simon struggles to establish a new routine for himself and his two boys, Ben and Beckett. The grieving family feels as though Olive\u2019s restless spirit is unwilling to let them go, and the two boys especially continue to feel her strong presence in their lives.<\/p>\n

In her novel, Say Something, Beth Hill explores the pain of losing a loved one and the different paths people take to heal after suffering a devastating loss. The author demonstrates how \u2013 with a little divine intervention \u2013 a grieving husband and two small boys learn an incredibly difficult lesson. Sometimes loving someone means letting them go, and sometimes the only choice you have is to move on.<\/p>\n
